I’ve been going to Women’s Exotic Workout (W.E.W.) for over 3 years now, and have enjoyed every class. Adena, the owner, is such a kind, funny, and generous woman – empowering and healing all those she meets. With the holidays and bad weather, the studio has fallen behind on rent and utilities. Adena has given up her own personal pay and run up personal debt to keep W.E.W. open. Her love of teaching and helping women is strong, and as a way to give back to her I’m donating 50% of all sales to help pay off back rent and utilities – all until they are fully paid off. She has empowered me, been an ear to listen, and encouraged me all these years, and I want to be able to give something back to her.
Please check out the gofundme page for more information. If you’re able to donate any amount, it would be greatly appreciated – even if that donation is sharing the link to others.
Thank you for reading, and I hope you have a wonderful rest of the week. ❤
For the rest of the month of January, Charcoal self portraits will be on special through my website. Instead of the usual $150 for a self portrait, I’m doing them for only $50. These are all hand made using charcoal and paper, and I even keep the tabs on them to show they are authentic and done by hand. That’s $100 off the original price. $40 of each purchase will be donated towards W.E.W. Adena is such a wonderful person, and she has helped so many women, rescue animals, and myself.
Thank you everyone who contributed toward purchasing craft supplies for the nursing homes! I was able to put together 6 bags to donate Friday (12/02/2016) to the Grandville Villa in La Vista. In the bags I included:
Blank Cards With Envelopes
Foam Gingerbread Men
Metallic Colored Tape
In addition to the craft supplies, I will be donating all of the beaded animals that didn’t sell from Rossi’s Hair Salon (I made 10 beaded animal key-chains and 3 sets of earrings to sell there). Thank you Rossi Hair Salon for your support! They have been kind enough to allow me to sell my beaded animals there, as well as offer $10 hair cuts to the people I’ve donated to – Including the Eastern Nebraska Veteran’s Home in Bellevue in which I donated to during Veteran’s Day. If you’re ever down there for a haircut, the beaded animals are on the shelf to the right near the hair products 🙂
I’ll be sure to keep everyone updated on how the Grandville Villa liked the craft supplies, and be sure to take pictures this time!
Have a great evening everyone!
P.S. I got new business cards made, yay! It has my Square-store on it as well as my email, blog, and Facebook 🙂
