Update 8/12/2016

Sorry I’ve been gone a while >.< Been busy working on some projects. Getting tight on money, so have been putting my beaded animals up for sale – i make them when i’m taking breaks from my projects to help me relax and get focused again. (If your interested, you can check out my store Here ) Hope everyone is doing well! And thank you for your continued support and being patient with me.

Oh, I also made up a new beaded pattern (well a few) but my proud accomplishment is my Wyvern! It looks so awesome (to me anyway). I’ll have to take some pictures! I think I’ve also almost mastered my dragon, just a few more adjustments and I think it’ll be perfect! So excited!

For any beaded animal lovers out there like me, I was thinking on making eBooks on how to make a beaded dragon, praying mantis, and wyvern. Still pondering on that idea though *ponders more*.

Till next time!

Have a great weekend!

Update 7/11/2016

Been working hard on some side projects to earn some extra income. It’s a little harder than I thought, but oh well lol. I’ve learned a lot since starting, like how not to offend people when writing a book. I can be a bit blunt at times, and a little unconventional (a lot unconventional actually). So I’ve had to tone it down a lot in the eBooks I’m working on.

The little snippet here –  make sure content doesn’t offend people…and if it might, add a disclaimer to warn them! There will still be people out there that will dog on you for it, however there are people who are just trolls no matter what you do. On that note, don’t take comments from trolls to heart. Now if there is some beneficial criticism, such as how to make your work better, or something to add into it, then it’s good to listen from time to time!

Have a great day everyone!

Update 06/23/2016

To earn some extra income I created some drawings, including a catwoman one which I’m selling on ebay currently (Click Here To View). I’ve also drawn Rose Leslie, Melania Trump, and Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson). Since I went full time working on my business, things have been really tight. Maybe that’s a good thing, it’s getting me to doing things more quickly – because I have till July 15th to get enough money to pay bills. A little pressure isn’t a bad thing, it’s kind of like that little push to move forward. So I better get back to work, Hope everyone has a great day!

I also want to thank you for your support, and I hope you understand why I haven’t been social in the last several months. Once I get my business up and running smoothly, I will have more time to hang out with the people that matter most: Friends and Family. I care about you more than I express, that’s one of my weaknesses as an Introvert – communication. I hope you know that I do care about you, that I haven’t forgotten you, and that if you need anything I’m just a text or a phone call away.

30 Day Challenge

I signed up on Udemy to put my Carnation course on, though the price minimum was more than I wanted to charge for the single course. So I decided that I will add onto the carnation video so that it will have four to five projects in the one video to sell on Udemy. My single carnation video I’m going to sell on Amazon video, or at least try to =p – I’m still learning how to get it on there. I need to make a trailer for it, and take a few photos to use as the cover title – so not too hard. Now that I type this out, I realized something…. I’m a producer! Yay! Movie trailers, movie photos, and creating movies – Oh My!

I’ve done so much in the past few months, it’s almost as if it were someone else. Creating eBooks and a movie (though short), I’m still getting used to the actuality of it all. Anyway, before my head starts spinning like the exorcist, I’m going to continue on. I have 30 days to complete my Udemy video – which will now be how to make a flower bouquet out of tissue paper and pipe cleaners (fun!) And at the same time I will get my carnation video on Amazon. So here I go!

Have a great day everyone!

My First Video Project

So I decided to create an online video. I was really nervous being on the camera for the first time. I’m not used to getting out there and seen. So I wouldn’t recommend this for the artists/authors who want to stay incognito. For those who don’t mind, video’s one of the best ways to get content out there – people are more interested in watching a video than any other form. Me personally, I’m a little old fashioned and love a good hard copy book =)

Anyway, Soon I’m going to put my video up for sale. It’s about How to create a tissue paper carnation inexpensively. Most the items I use in the video are either from the dollar store, or from around the house. So for about $5 or less in material, you can create several flowers. Now to think of a good craft website to sell it on… Research time!

I’ll keep everyone up to date on my progress. And if you’re interested in wanting to teach others how to create craft projects, the research I do will help you too!

Have a great day everyone!

Did It!

So here it is, my very first eBook (click here to see)! I’m mostly excited that I just posted it, to get it out there. I created the cover myself, though I know there are freelance sites that will create covers for you for $5 and up. All the poems were from when I was younger, so they are a little dark. It was a depressing time in my life, but luckily it didn’t last =) I also listed one of my drawings on EBay, it has four of the catwomen in it (Click here to see) drawn with charcoal.

Hope everyone has a great day/evening!

Oh, and if anyone was curious about freelance sites for book covers, here are a few that I know of right off hand – though I’m sure there are a lot out there!

Learning

Ive been doing a lot of research, and listening to people around me. What Ive found: the internet is key to making money. The how is almost infinite, the what is almost infinite. So how to choose the how and what? Well, That is more tricky than I thought. So I asked myself, What am I good at? What do I already spend money on? And what can I talk about for hours? Creative writing happened to be one of the top things, and its fun. Then came the dreaded voices in my head would people actually buy it? With that thought in mind, Im going to prove the voices wrong. Im going to just get it out there. I have some poems I would like to publish, so why not just jump in? Its an experiment, so why not experiment? Worst case scenario I make no money, but with Kindle publishing I dont spend any money on it either... So if even one copy sells, I make more than I put in... Sounds like a great deal to me!
So Here I go... The deadline: have it done by this week. Here I am, challenging myself, and getting out of my comfort zone. Ill keep everyone up to date on when I have it up on Kindle!
Until then, Cheers!
